The visual identity and cover art for this 800-plus-page publication draw on concepts from private international law and Jorge Luis Borges’s The Garden of Forking Paths. Branching paths cross a softly blurred map of the Americas and extend beyond the continent, suggesting how legal questions can follow different routes across borders and have global implications. The interior was designed as a consistent editorial system, with typography, page layouts and a clear hierarchy that make the extensive legal content easier to navigate and read.
